The status of Aquatic Center Programs, Special Events and Rentals will be determined by the Pool Manager one hour prior to the start time of the activity.

The Pool Manager is authorized to close the Family Aquatic Center and/or cancel aquatic programs when:
  • Air temperatures fall below 68 degrees
  • There is lightning and/or thunder in the area
  • There are 20 or less swimmers in the Aquatic Center
These conditions would prevail if the weather is such that it may tend to discourage additional persons from swimming.

Should the Aquatic Center close or programs get canceled, we will make every attempt possible to notify the public by:
  • Posted sign at the Mooresville Family Aquatic Center
  • Notification on park website
  • Message left on pool answering machine 831-9550
