Summer Seasonal Employment  
Applications for 2012 seasonal employees are currently being accepted.  Applications may be downloaded from the website here or picked up in the Park Office.  Interviews and hiring will begin early March.  The park is not currently hiring for any full-time positions.

ANTICIPATED SEASONAL OPPORTUNITIES 2012

Start Smart Sport Coordinator
- approximately 2-8 hours/week, 7 weeks.

This position runs one to three Start Smart Sport Programs (offerings include Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer). Start Smart is a national program that introduces 3-5 year olds and a parent/guardian to the sport.

Little Tykes Summer Camp Coordinator - approximately 12-15 hours/week, 8 weeks
This position coordinates the day-to-day operation of the Little Tykes Preschool Summer Camp (M-F 9am-11am)

Aquatics Assistant Manager - approximately 20-30 hours/week, all summer.
This position oversees the day-to-day operation of the Aquatic Center. This individual is responsible for employee management, pool chemistry, and customer service.

Camp Counselor - approximately 30-40 hours/week, 11 weeks
This position works with the Pioneer Adventure Camp (K-6) and includes planning activities, games and special events for the campers. A High School Degree or equivalent is required.

Lifeguard - hours vary, approximately 12 weeks, plus weekends from mid-August to Labor Day.
This position is responsible for guarding informal swimming at the Aquatic Center. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age and have American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. Water Skills Test will be part of the interview process.

Water Safety Instructor - approximately 15 hours/week, 10 weeks (Lifeguard opportunities also available)
This position teaches swim lessons to children ages 6 months - 12 years, at various levels (M-F 8am - 11am). Requires American Red Cross WSI certification.

Cashier/Concession - hours vary, approximately 12 weeks, plus weekends from mid-August to Labor Day.
This position works at the Aquatic Center at the entrance gate and/or concession stand. Responsibilities include customer service, food preparation, and money management. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age.
